In 2005, nine arts organizations were selected to receive Artography grants to support their activities over a two-year period. They were chosen because their work directly engages in a context that examines what it means to make exemplary art in a changing America.

These organizations represent diverse artistic disciplines from all across the country and the numerous identities of individuals and cultures that influence the artistic vitality of the U.S.

Capacity Building Grantees

In March 2006, LINC made four capacity-building grants totaling $130,000 to organizations that applied to and were highly ranked in Artography’s 2005 peer review process. Their work was considered consistent with the goals of Artography and addressed discipline areas not covered by the 2005 grants.
