AXIS Residency: University of Virginia

From March 23 to 26, the U.Va. Department of Drama and Dance Program will welcome AXIS Dance Company to Charlottesville. AXIS' focus is on creating and presenting contemporary dance by artists with and without disabilities. During its guest artist residency, AXIS Dance Company will teach a series of master classes and hold a lecture and demonstration for middle and high school students. Their visit will culminate in a live performance of several original dance pieces including a new work by modern dance choreographer David Dorfman on Friday, March 26 at 7:30 pm at the Paramount Theater.
