Robert Carabay, Program Assistant

LINC’s new Program Assistant, Robert Carabay, will support us in grant making and knowledge network programs that tackle issues such as artist space, health insurance, donor development, training and professional development, and information for artists.

Robert began his work with the Carpenters/Contractors Cooperation Committee, Inc., in 2002. As Special Projects Coordinator his duties included public relations and communications, community outreach, and research and strategy. He implemented the use of video documentation in evidence packets for wage claims of carpenters exploited on public works projects. He also wrote labor-related articles for various Spanish language newspapers throughout Nevada to inform a growing Latino population of issues affecting their lives. Robert earned his BA in Spanish Literature from Pomona College in Claremont, CA.
